Buying online with Burford Woodcraft is both easy and secure.

How to use our shop
Shopping online with us is easy. Simply browse through our products department by department or use the shop search facility to locate something specific quickly. Once you've found what you're looking for, you just need to select the appropriate product options (if any), enter a quantity figure and click its add to basket button.
If you wish to view, edit or remove any items in your basket, simply use the basket button on the right to go to the view basket page, then once you're ready to buy, click on the checkout button and follow the on-screen prompts.
Shopping security
For our customers' online shopping security and piece of mind, Burford Woodcraft uses fully Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant Payment Service Provider (PSP), Sage Pay (a Sage UK company) during the checkout process.
This means that your payment card data is protected from unauthorised access during its transfer over the internet and also from fraudulent use on our website.
To date, there have been no documented cases of fraud resulting from use of our online shopping facility.

Making payment
Customers may either pay by credit or debit card. All prices are shown in British Pounds.
For credit / debit card payments, we accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Maestro, Electron and Delta. Card details can be submitted online via our trusted Payment Service Provider (PSP), Sage Pay. For more details about how we protect your personal data, please see the section on shopping security.
Payment is never taken until the goods are ready for dispatch.
Taxes and duties
Prices are shown inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%.
As this charge is applicable only to UK customers, orders being delivered to the United States and Canada will have VAT automatically removed.
Any other tax, import duties or similar charges that may be levied against purchases at the time of delivery are the responsibility of the purchaser. Burford Woodcraft has no control over such charges and can neither predict nor prevent them.
About delivery
At present we are only able to deliver orders taken online to the UK, the United States and Canada. Please email (enquiries@burford-woodcraft.co.uk), write or telephone us if you live elsewhere and would like to discuss a purchase.
If we have your items in stock they will usually be despatched within seven days. However, as our products are carefully handmade, sometimes we run out of stock and have to wait for more. If this is the case, we will notify you and advise you of how long it will take to have the items made for you. You will, of course, be able to cancel your order should you so wish.
Once the order has been despatched delivery timescales will be dependant on the class of service selected and the destination.
Our delivery charges are based on the total weight (including appropriate packaging), delivery destination and the class of service selected. All costs are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and our minimum charges are £1.50 (for orders delivered to the UK) and £3.50 (for orders delivered to the US and Canada). Both of these allow for total order weights of up to 250g, so if you're ordering something small and light, why not add a few more items for delivery at the same price?
In the UK, we offer both Royal Mail 1st Class Standard* (which includes up to £28 compensation cover for loss in transit) and Parcel Force 24 / 48 (which includes up to £150 compensation cover. Please contact us if you would like to extend this to £500 for an extra charge of £5.
* Up to 4kg total order weight.
Items delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class Standard will typically arrive within approximately 1 - 3 working days from despatch and those delivered by Parcel Force 24 will arrive next working day.
Please note that whilst most UK deliveries via Parcel Force will employ their '24' service, delivery to the following UK postcodes will instead employ their '48' service and take 3 working days to arrive:
IV4 - IV36; IV40 - IV49; IV51 - IV56; KA27; KA28; PH17 - PH26; PH30 - PH44; PH49; PH50; PA20 - PA49; PA60 - PA78; KW1 - KW3; KW5 - KW17; ZE1 - ZE3; HS1 - HS9.
In the US and Canada, we offer both Air Small Packet Service* (which offers the option of up to £500 loss in transit compensation cover for an extra charge of £4.30) and Parcel Force Air International Standard which includes up to £150 compensation cover. Please email us if you would like to extend this to £500 for an extra charge of £10.
* Up to 2kg total order weight.
Please note that the maximum weight of individual orders taken online for delivery in all cases is currently 10kg. Orders weighing more than this can still be delivered but should be placed with us by phone on +44 (0) 1993 823479 or via email on enquiries@burford-woodcraft.co.uk (please do not send credit / debit card details via email). Customers will be notified during the checkout process should their order exceed the weight limit.

Please state your name and contact information, together with an order number (if applicable) and details of your concerns (whether it be with using the website, with delivery or with the product itself). We will then do everything within our power to rectify the situation.

Cancellations and returns
Customers have the right to cancel their order at any time before it is dispatched, or within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
To cancel an order, customers should notify us on +44 (0) 1993 823479, via email (enquiries@burford-woodcraft.co.uk) or via our online enquiry form, stating their contact details and order number.
By law, customers may cancel orders without reason (within 7 days). However, if we know what went wrong we can use the feedback to improve our service.
To return an item to us (within 14 days of receipt) for refund or exchange, customers should include all of the item's original packaging, wrap it carefully and securely and send it to:

We recommend that customers use a recorded-delivery service, for their own protection, since we cannot be responsible for any returned goods that are lost in the post. All return postage costs to be borne by the customer.
Specially commissioned items are non-returnable. Refunds or exchanges cannot be given.
